About Internal Medicine Specialist Louis Martinucci
Dr. Martinucci obtained his M.D. from the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba, in 2016. Following completion of medical school, Dr. Martinucci went on to work as a house physician in the department of Neurology at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, in 2018. Dr. Martinucci later became a resident of the Internal Medicine residency program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in 2019. While undergoing residency training, Dr. Martinucci was elected by his peers and superiors as a Chief Resident of the program for his final year in 2022. Following residency training, Dr. Martinucci went on to work as a hospitalist at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and later as a primary care physician for patients in various long term care facilities throughout New York City.
Dr. Martinucci’s thorough approach to practicing medicine focuses on improving the biological, psychological and social determinants of his patient’s health. Dr. Martinucci’s experience is based in management of complex acute and chronic illness in a diverse population of adults. Dr. Martinucci is board certified in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and he speaks English and Spanish.
