Dr. Melia Abou-Hanna was born and raised in Peoria, IL where she also attended college at Bradley University earning a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Soon after she went to complete her DDS at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Lastly, she finished her training by completing a fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry locally at Columbia University.
Since then she has been working as a general dentist associate in private practice. Her passion in dentistry lies in relieving people’s pain while also giving them a smile they can be proud of! She especially enjoys connecting and finding commonality with patients of all backgrounds.
During her time off she enjoys cooking from scratch, long distance running, enjoying time with friends and family, and exploring new spots in the city! Dr. Abou-Hanna speaks English and conversational Arabic
