Zuleika Tavarez is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in New York, with nine years of experience in providing comprehensive care to women of all ages, with a particular focus on preventative medicine. Her unwavering dedication and passion for delivering exceptional care to women is evident in her commitment to providing personalized and highly professional healthcare services.
Zuleika’s primary objective is to enhance access to quality healthcare for all women. She strives to educate, empower, and elevate women, empowering them to make well-informed decisions about their health and overall wellness. Notably, as a Black and Latina woman specializing in Gynecology and working in the diverse community of Brooklyn, Zuleika has firsthand experience and understanding of the unique challenges faced by Black, Latinx, and women of color within the healthcare system. These challenges range from higher rates of medical issues to alarmingly high maternal health and maternal mortality figures.
She personally feels a sense of responsibility to ensure that all women can access high-quality gynecological and women’s health care. Her broader mission is to serve as a beacon for raising awareness and addressing the pressing public health crisis related to the disparities experienced by Black, Latina and women of color.
